辛亥革命前后，居住在浙东山村里的祥林嫂（白杨 饰）命运凄惨，丈夫祥林早年去世，他死后的棺材帐越滚越大，一家人生活举步维艰。婆婆走投无路，为了还清债务，给二儿子阿根娶亲，在中人卫老二（管宗祥 饰）的怂恿下不惜偷偷将媳妇卖给贺老六（魏鹤龄 饰）。阿根将此事告于嫂子，心中无限凄苦的祥林嫂连夜逃跑，经人介绍在鲁镇鲁四老爷家打工。未过多久，婆婆登门领走祥林嫂。被逼过门的女人险些闹出人命，幸运的是贺老六为人善良忠厚，待她不薄，儿子阿毛的出生则令祥林嫂些许体会到生而为人的难得幸福。好景不长，丈夫和儿子接连死亡，彻底将祥林嫂的人生推向谷底…… 本片根据中国著名文学家鲁迅的同名小说改编。
1985年，为了挽救濒临倒闭的青岛电冰箱厂，新上任的厂长凌敏（石凉 饰）前往德国科隆引进德国先进生产线。由于资金紧张和德方对中方的不信任，德国人提出验厂并且提前了验厂时间，如果不合格签订的合同就会自动失效。凌敏带领全厂职工加班加点通过了德方的检验，终于赢得了合同。挑战刚刚开始，为了提高员工的质量意识，凌敏带头砸毁了七十六台不合格冰箱。这一举动深深震撼了对质量问题不以为然的员工，给全体海尔人上了宝贵的一课。由于过硬的质量，海尔变成中国第一品牌。但是凌敏并不满足于现有成绩，他根据对国家形势和政策的正确估计，提出多元化发展战略，建立海尔产业园区。然而，资金的压力和各界的质疑也接踵而来。外资介入能否成功？海尔的命运到底能否掌握在海尔人自己手中呢......
退休沙展范根（冯淬帆）与高级警察李国江（黄锦燊）本是同胞，后因一闪严重过失，范根代替李国江承担责任而遭革职之后，范在贤姐（李殿朗）的发型屋内任发型师，并得到贤姐芳心暗许，但可惜范根爱子身染重病每年需要换血费用甚巨，范为替其子彻底治病，秘密为黑帮首领洪驹（王伟）任杀手。

An illegitimate child, he is the main reason for the enmity which exists between his parents, who continue to live together just to keep up appearances. In the end, Poil de Carotte's suffering becomes more than he can bear... Review Drawing heavily on the poignant novel by Jules Renard on which it is based, Poil de carotte is a modest yet appealing film which has stood the test of time mainly because of the quality of its acting performances and its inherent humanity. It is more memorable than Julien Duvivier's earlier silent version of 1925, also named Poil de Carotte. The part of Poil de Carotte was played by 11 year old Robert Lynen, who was alleged to have been discovered whilst walking down the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Lynen is totally captivating and the film made him an instant star, launching what looked like becoming a very promising film career – until he was shot dead whilst fighting against the Germans in 1944. Harry Baur, a legendary stage and film actor (who also died during World War II, allegedly at the hands of the Gestapo), also turns in a typically fine performance. The reconciliation between father and son at the end of the film provides its most enduring image, enough to melt the heart of all but the most stoical of spectators.
解放前夕的天津搬运码头，工人们受尽马八辈（陈士和 饰）父子和国民党统治者的压榨，个个挣扎在死亡线上。搬运工胡二（郭派清 饰）强忍饥饿扛包运货，累得昏倒在地，儿子因捡漏在地上的粮食，被马家的狗腿子活活摔死。胡妻（李晓工 饰）闻讯哭昏死过去。愤怒的工人自觉聚在一起商议，推选胡二和丁占元（李紫平 饰）为代表，率全体工人大闹马八辈的寿宴，追讨扣发的工钱并增加工资，不然就罢工。在六号门带动下，全市各货场码头纷纷响应。在强大斗争压力下，马八辈的儿子马金龙（谢添 饰）不得已给工人增加工资，之后指使特务逮捕了胡二。解放后，马氏父子受到政府处理，工人们推选胡二当了搬运站长，而被政府处理的老恶霸并不甘心......
