Colin Jost and Michael Che, "Weekend Update" anchors and Emmy Award-nominated co-head writers of NBC's iconic and Emmy Award-winning late night franchise Saturday Night Live, have been named co-hosts of the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards. Whilst the Japanese victory confirmed how useless it was for Australians to rely on Britain for their defence, post-war Australians looked to another great protective power - the United States - to align itself with.
