故事讲述了风靡十年的超人气热血IP《排球少年!!》中人气最高、最精彩绝伦的垃圾场决战。日向翔阳因为心怀成为“排球小巨人”的梦想加入了乌野高中排球部，逐渐成为独当一面的副攻手。春季高中排球比赛上，乌野高中排球部终于迎来了与音驹高中排球部的正式比赛。同为“没落的豪强”，两支队伍惺惺相惜，却从未站上过同一场正式较量的舞台。长久的纠葛终于迎来了结，一场“只有一次”的命运对决即将开幕！振翅一击吧，心怀梦想的少年们！
军车在险峻的山路上行驶着。车上坐着四个人：沉默寡言、外表冷峻的汽车兵排长沈新，聪明活泼的新战士王小多，刚多北京某医学院毕业返乡的藏族大学生格桑拉姆，她是受兵站站长委托前去为一名工人的孩子治病的，还有一个是病倒在路旁林中而被救上车的藏族猎人尼玛次仁。 车正疾驶着，忽然，格桑拉姆猛击驾驶室顶，大叫停车。原来她发现尼玛次仁带着大量麝香，准备私自贩卖。车停下了，沈新拿过尼玛次仁的羊皮口袋，准备将他送交赛塘县公安局。 不料半路上车出了故障，四人只得露宿。而尼玛则趁夜色逃走，没想到在森林中旧病复发，又遇恶狼。正当他生命垂危之时，沈新赶到，击毙了恶狼，救出尼玛。 翌晨，车修好后，四人继续前行。途中又遇山洪暴发。为及时把车上物资送到兵站，沈新毅然涉水引路，使军车顺利通过，可自己却被湍急的洪水冲倒。此时，尼玛不顾一切，接连跃上水中的石块，甩绳救出沈新。 在两天两夜患难与共、生死相依的旅程中，四人心心相印。 分别时，尼玛主动将麝香卖给国家，格桑拉姆的心中已深深地印上了沈新的影子，而沈新也很钦佩这个性格倔强的藏族姑娘。
影片灵感来源于罗马尼亚作家马克思·布莱彻1937年的自传小说，故事围绕20岁的主人公埃曼努尔展开。埃曼努尔患有骨结核，在黑海海岸疗养院度过了大半辈子。期间他在疗养院中找到了爱情，并为此尽力尝试勇敢面对生活。虽然身体慢慢枯萎了，但他们的精神拒绝向命运屈服。

One day, her daughter calls him up and reports that his granddaughter Ah Cho is again missing. The old man hits the road again, in search of the young girl. Then P, Ah Cho's best friend, emerges out of nowhere and heads Wu's search, leading the old man into a series of strange encounters in the uncharted world of frustrated youth. An illegitimate child, he is the main reason for the enmity which exists between his parents, who continue to live together just to keep up appearances. In the end, Poil de Carotte's suffering becomes more than he can bear... Review Drawing heavily on the poignant novel by Jules Renard on which it is based, Poil de carotte is a modest yet appealing film which has stood the test of time mainly because of the quality of its acting performances and its inherent humanity. It is more memorable than Julien Duvivier's earlier silent version of 1925, also named Poil de Carotte. The part of Poil de Carotte was played by 11 year old Robert Lynen, who was alleged to have been discovered whilst walking down the Champs-Elysées in Paris. Lynen is totally captivating and the film made him an instant star, launching what looked like becoming a very promising film career – until he was shot dead whilst fighting against the Germans in 1944. Harry Baur, a legendary stage and film actor (who also died during World War II, allegedly at the hands of the Gestapo), also turns in a typically fine performance. The reconciliation between father and son at the end of the film provides its most enduring image, enough to melt the heart of all but the most stoical of spectators.
