故事设定于18世纪90年代，在英国崎岖山路上，“龙卷风”（木村光希 饰）发现自己陷入了危险境地。她与父亲在木偶剧巡回演出路上，遇到了残忍的犯罪团伙，并发生了冲突。该团伙由舒格曼（蒂姆·罗斯 饰）和他的儿子小舒格曼（杰克·劳登 饰）领导。为了获取新的生活，“龙卷风”抓住机会，偷走了犯罪团伙最近一次抢劫的金子，并奋力逃脱。
